Job summary

Adena Health System in Lancaster, Ohio, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Fairfield Medical Oncology team. The role supports ambulatory oncology patients and may assist in the infusion suite, collaborating with two physicians, a PA, nursing staff, navigators, and the broader oncology team.

The APP will evaluate patients independently, manage treatment toxicities, document thoroughly in the EMR (Epic), enter orders, and contribute to high‑quality, compassionate cancer care

Qualifications

• Experience in oncology/hematology settings is required.
• Experience in outpatient oncology clinic environments is preferred.
• Familiar with chemotherapy workflows and infusion center processes.
• Willingness to pursue oncology certification if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient oncology clinic.
• Respond to messages in the EMR and document clinically.
• Place orders and ensure accurate charge capture for billing.
