As an Oncology/Hematology Account Manager, you will manage sales and business activities within a designated geographical area. Your key responsibilities include driving sales, leveraging customer relationships, and impacting various customer segments. You will design and implement strategic business plans to increase revenue from targeted customers, understanding and utilizing the roles of cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial Operations. Deep knowledge of Oncology customers and local market dynamics is essential.

Responsibilities
  1. Drive sales results and ensure patient access to GSK therapies.
  2. Develop and execute business plans for the area.
  3. Identify and develop key prescribers and account drivers.
  4. Engage proactively with customers and account groups to promote GSK therapies and enhance our image.
  5. Collaborate with teams to maximize brand exposure within key accounts.
  6. Work with the Regional Sales Director and cross-functional partners to launch and promote products.
  7. Develop programs to increase customer access and engagement.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • 4-year BA/BS degree from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales, biologic/specialty sales, or clinical oncology experience, including patient care and physician interface
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to operate a vehicle
  • Residence within the territory; no relocation assistance provided
  • Ability to travel domestically as needed, including overnight/weekend travel
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Oncology or specialty sales experience, with a preference for health system/institutional experience
  • Experience selling multiple myeloma or myelofibrosis products
  • Experience with product marketing, specialty pharmacy, payers, or state societies
  • Strong organizational skills and strategic thinking
  • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with all management levels
Compensation & Benefits

The annual base salary ranges from $158,250 to $263,750, depending on factors such as location, skills, and experience. The role includes an annual bonus, long-term incentive programs, health insurance, retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and parental/caregiver leave.
