Position Overview

GSK's US Oncology team is seeking an experienced Oncology/Hematology Account Manager to oversee sales and business activities within Long Island and Brooklyn, NY. This role involves driving sales, fostering customer relationships, and implementing strategic business plans to increase revenue. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial Operations is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive sales results and ensure patient access to GSK therapies.
  2. Develop and execute business plans for the designated territory.
  3. Identify and develop relationships with key prescribers and accounts.
  4. Engage proactively with customers to promote GSK therapies and enhance company image.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to maximize brand exposure and availability.
  6. Support product launches and ongoing promotions.
  7. Develop programs to increase customer access and engagement.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least 3 years of pharmaceutical or biologic/specialty sales experience, or clinical oncology experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel domestically.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Over 2 years of oncology or specialty sales experience, with preference for health system/institutional experience.
  • Experience with multiple myeloma or myelofibrosis products.
  • Strong organizational and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits

The base salary ranges from $158,250 to $263,750, depending on various factors. Additional incentives include bonuses, long-term incentives, health benefits, retirement plans, and paid leave. For more details, visit GSK US Benefits Summary.
