Job summary

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG) seeks a Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist to join the Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute in South Florida. The role focuses on comprehensive surgical care for complex head and neck cancers within a thriving multidisciplinary program.

The successful candidate will be Board Certified/Eligible in ABOHNS, have a Head and Neck Oncology fellowship, and demonstrate expertise in microvascular reconstruction, with a commitment to patient-centered, team-based care.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS).
• Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology is required.
• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution with active license or eligibility.
• Experience in microvascular reconstruction and complex reconstructive surgery.
• Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaboration with oncology, radiology, pathology and support teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical care for head and neck malignancies across the spectrum of sites.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with medical, radiation oncology and pathology teams.
• Contribute to expansion and strengthening of the Head and Neck Oncology Program within the institute.
• Demonstrate professionalism and commitment to patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.
