Job summary

Corient seeks an Onboarding Specialist II to manage end-to-end onboarding for new clients and accounts, from paperwork to funding, while coordinating with clients for signatures and asset transfers. You will work with client service teams to ensure a smooth onboarding journey and exceptional service delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years in operations or client service in financial services, with onsite work 4 days per week.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of operations or client service experience at an RIA or similar financial services company.
  • Experience with Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Salesforce, Addepar, DocuSign or ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify and fulfill client needs with minimal supervision while working in a team.
  • Must maintain confidentiality with all client and firm matters.

Responsibilities

About The Role

Corient is seeking an Onboarding Specialist II. The responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients and accounts, from WMA generation to account setup and funding.
  • Prepare and process new account paperwork including custodial forms, wealth management agreements, transfer forms, and required disclosures with a high level of accuracy.
  • Coordinate directly with clients to obtain signatures via DocuSign or mail
  • Manage asset transfers including ACATs, rollovers, and wires
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing client questions and needs during the onboarding process.
  • Collaborate closely with client service specialists and internal teams to gather information and ensure the completion of timely onboarding.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of operations or client service experience at an RIA or similar financial services company
  • Experience with Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Salesforce, Addepar, DocuSign, (competency or ability to learn quickly)
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to identify, meet and follow through with client needs and requests
  • Able to work independently with minimal to no supervision but enjoy being part of a team
  • Must be confidential with all client and firm matters
  • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

Physical Requirements
  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.   • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.
U.S. Eligibility Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. For U.S. employment opportunities, Corient hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Corient will require proof of work authorization.
  • Corient participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S. If E-Verify cannot confirm that you are authorized to work, this employer is required to give you written instructions and an opportunity to contact Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Social Security Administration (SSA) so you can begin to resolve the issue before the employer can take any action against you, including terminating your employment.
