Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Georgia is seeking an Onboarding Specialist for Recruiting to guide new hires through pre-employment requirements and onboarding. You will coordinate background checks, drug tests, and onboarding documents, while keeping hiring managers informed of progress.

You will support the recruiting team with requisitions, respond to applicant status checks, and handle administrative tasks such as posting jobs. Some travel to our corporate location may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse personalities.
• Ability to quickly learn and use multiple websites and systems.
• Strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate onboarding by running background checks and scheduling pre-employment drug tests and physicals; monitor onboarding documents.
• Ensure I-9 and E-verify processes are completed timely.
• Follow up with candidates and vendors on status of items.
• Create/close job postings and respond to application status checks.
• Other duties as assigned.
