  • Experience with driver qualification file management is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate applicant information for Driver Qualification (DQ) files for all driver types.
  • Maintain consistent communication with applicants regarding file status via phone or in person.
  • Ensure applications are complete with all required documentation.
  • Use designated systems to perform three years of employment verification per FMCSR.
  • Review documents for completeness prior to driver activation.
  • Adhere to federal/state regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare accurate files to ensure safety readiness and compliance.
  • Perform additional duties to support company goals.

Job description

The Onboarding Coordinator manages the end-to-end onboarding process, beginning with the applicant’s arrival at orientation through to driver activation. This role is responsible for processing driver applications accurately and efficiently, ensuring qualifications are met, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and DOT regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate with applicants to collect necessary information and documentation for Driver Qualification (DQ) files, including for company drivers, owner operators, lease-purchase, and changeovers.
  • Maintain consistent and clear communication with applicants regarding their file status via phone or in person.
  • Ensure all applications are processed accurately and completely, with all required documentation included.
  • Use designated technologies to perform three years of employment verification in accordance with FMCSR requirements.
  • Organize and review all documents for completeness prior to driver activation.
  • Adhere to all federal and state regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance and safety readiness through accurate and complete file preparation.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support company goals.

Education/Experience

The posted range reflects the full pay band for the position. The expected pay range below represents where most candidates are hired, based on experience, skills, and internal equity. Candidates with more extensive or highly relevant experience may be considered toward the higher end of the overall pay band.

  • Expected Pay Range: $16.41-$18.05
  • Full Pay Range: $16.41-$24.24
  • Pay Grade: 4
