Qualifications

• Must hold appropriate U.S. Coast Guard Assistant Engineer license.
• 1 year experience as an Assistant Engineer preferred.
• Capable of climbing and descending steep stairs and vertical ladders.

Responsibilities

• Manage 12 hour watch and coordinate engineering staff activities.
• Ensure safe operation of the vessel at sea and in port.
• Implement effective communication among engineering staff.
