Job summary

CA C I International Inc. seeks a Network Engineer to support a United States Hospital Ship. The role requires extensive enterprise IT experience, security clearances, and the ability to deploy on short notice.

The engineer will oversee Cisco routing, switching, security systems, SATCOM connectivity, and a range of network and server technologies onboard the vessel. Up to 75% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Enterprise IT administration or related healthcare informatics roles.
• Experience with network operations: routing, switching, security, WAN, and SDWAN concepts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD/clearance prerequisites and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain onboard network operations for a hospital ship environment.
• Provide technical support for security enclaves, SATCOM, firewall, VoIP, Wi‑Fi, and related devices.
• Deploy aboard ship for missions and shipyard periods as embedded staff.
