Job summary

T1 Energy is seeking an IPQA Tech 1 to join our Module Quality Assurance team on the factory floor in Wilmer, Texas. You will monitor in-process production steps, identify defects, and perform real-time audits to ensure photovoltaic products meet internal and international standards.

The role requires a keen eye for detail, data logging, cross-functional collaboration with production and engineering, and strict adherence to safety and cleanroom protocols in a high-volume, automated facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1+ year experience in quality control or inspection in fast-paced manufacturing.
• Ability to read technical specs and use basic measurement tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 is a plus.
• Experience with SAP/MES/ERP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• In-Process Inspection at key manufacturing milestones.
• Identify and isolate defects; containment for non-conforming materials.
• Collaborate with operators, shift supervisors, and technicians.
• Log data in MES and ERP systems with real-time accuracy.
• Assist audits and support QC procedure improvements.
• Maintain safety and cleanroom compliance.
