B&B Concrete Contractors in Charlotte, NC is seeking a diligent Commercial Concrete Finisher to perform a range of carpentry tasks related to forming and finishing concrete structures. The role involves erecting and setting forms for foundations, floors, walls, columns, and tilt-wall assemblies in accordance with drawings.

Responsibilities include building forms, ensuring proper elevations, coordinating with the crew, and maintaining safety on site.

Qualifications

Ability to read and understand drawings and prints.
Build and/or assemble wood or metal forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-walls, etc.
Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations; assist with reinforcing steel as needed.
Observe safety policies and guidelines at all times.

Responsibilities

Build and assemble wood or metal forms for concrete structures.
Set forms to proper elevations; assist with reinforcing steel.
Set and erect forms using various materials and forming systems, primarily symon forms.
Verify accuracy with plumb bob, level, laser, or transit.
Erect scaffolding and ladders for above-ground work.
Communicate issues to Foreman or Project Manager.
Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
