Job summary

Worthington Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Quality Control Technician to verify product quality, support production teams, document nonconforming material, and help prevent defects from moving forward on the floor.

The 2nd shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday, offers $20 to $24 per hour based on experience. A high school diploma or GED is required, and attention to detail and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Clear communication and willingness to ask questions when needed.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, audits, and quality checks using standards and drawings.
• Support production during startup, in-process checks, and final verification.
• Identify and document nonconforming material to prevent use or shipment.
• Enter and maintain accurate quality records, including inspection results and claims.
• Verify labels, packaging, and customer-specific requirements before movement.
• Escalate equipment concerns and communicate quality issues across teams.
• Support supplier and receiving quality activities with documentation.
