Job summary

QPS Employment Group in Mount Pleasant, IA is seeking a Quality Control Technician for the night shift in a manufacturing setting. Pay is $19.00-$21.25 per hour, with a 5:30pm-5:30am schedule.

You will inspect products, perform audits, validate start-of-job checks, collect samples, and assist with inventory and production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products throughout production to ensure quality standards are met.
• Complete QC audits during the shift, typically 3 to 4 audits per shift.
• Perform Start of Job and Start of Shift Quality Validation Checklists.
• Collect and maintain quality samples as required.
• Provide break coverage for Machine Operators and help ensure machine coverage.
• Generate labels and pallet tags in coordination with Scheduling, Purchasing, and Production leadership.
• Assist with inventory counts and floor count activities.
• Sign off on pallet tags and maintain accurate production documentation.
• Update daily production logs and quality records.
• Assist the Production Supervisor in identifying and resolving quality concerns.
• Support the investigation and resolution of machine continuity and production issues.
• Promote and uphold the company's core values.
