Job summary

DeWys Metal Solutions is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer on the Marne, MI floor. You’ll work across Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to improve processes, optimize flow, support new product launches, and drive lean manufacturing initiatives.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving on the manufacturing floor, developing practical, sustainable improvements, and engaging with cross-functional teams to implement changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of manufacturing, engineering, or related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and prints.
• Experience with SolidWorks is preferred.
• Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and material flow.
• Design or develop manufacturing aids, tooling, and solutions to support teams.
• Analyze production data to improve efficiency, utilization, and scheduling.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and Kaizen events.
