Job summary

Alpha School is seeking a Youth Development Coach to empower K-3 students through coaching, life-skill workshops, and data-driven motivation. You will guide small groups and individuals, using adaptive learning insights to help students meet ambitious weekly goals.

On-site role with relocation assistance, Bachelor’s required, and at least 3 years working with children in relevant settings. You’ll foster confidence, resilience, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• At least 3 years of experience working with children ages 4–9 in teaching, coaching, camps, youth programs, or similar environments.
• Experience leading group activities for young children with concrete structure to keep the group engaged.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging life-skills workshops for K-3 students to master communication, focus, feedback, and other durable skills.
• Coach students one-on-one and in small groups using Coachbot analytics and motivation systems to reach weekly goals.
• Assess life-skill mastery through Alpha's framework, coaching students to demonstrate real understanding.
• Adapt coaching style to cohort development using storytelling, movement, or other methods as needed.
• Build relationships to support students in stretching beyond perceived limits.
