Job summary

SQA Services, a premier leader in managed supplier quality services, seeks a Welding Inspector on site in Missouri for 3-6 months. You will perform visual inspections in accordance with AWS D1.1, review welding documentation, and verify weld symbols and workmanship across structural fabrications.

Responsibilities include in-process and final inspections, maintaining records, coordinating with NDE when needed, and supporting supplier quality evaluations while ensuring compliance with ITAR

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting structural welds per AWS D1.1.
• Ability to verify weld symbols and drawings.
• Experience with on-site inspection and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection (VT) of structural welds per AWS D1.1.
• Evaluate weld workmanship and surface condition.
• Verify weld profiles, weld size, and contour requirements.
• In-process and final inspection of welds and workmanship.
• Generate inspection reports and nonconformance documentation.
• Coordinate with NDE personnel when required.
