Job summary

Mohican Valley Equipment is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our production team in a full-time, on-site role in Jeromesville, OH. The ideal candidate will perform welding and fabrication tasks, read blueprints, and operate a variety of tools in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include interpreting schematics, using plasma cutters and calipers, and collaborating with the team to meet production deadlines while upholding quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in welding (MIG, TIG) with sheet metal and steel.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation of schematics and drawings.
• Operate power tools, plasma cutters, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Mechanical aptitude with basic math for measurements and tolerances.
• Experience with rigging, crane operations, pipe threading, soldering, and assembly is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on diverse materials including sheet metal and various grade steel.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication processes.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices to ensure precision in dimensions and tolerances.
• Fabricate components for manufacturing projects, or asphalt paver repairs.
• Utilize rigging and crane operations for moving heavy materials or assemblies safely.
• Perform pipe threading, machining, soldering, and assembly tasks as required by project specifications.
• Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
