Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is seeking a Material Handler for the Weekend Night Shift at the Savanna, IL facility. The role supports production by receiving, storing, and moving materials using forklifts and warehouse systems to keep shipments on schedule.

You will operate equipment, track inventory with JDE and RF technologies, and ensure accurate labeling, packing, and timely delivery to work centers. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of related experience.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Attention to detail, time-management.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments by processing and organizing orders to meet production schedules.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, to move materials throughout the facility.
• Use warehouse equipment and JDE, RF technology to track inventory movement and support efficient shipping processes.
• Receive, store, issue, weigh, stock, and pack inbound and outbound materials and products while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
• Load and unload trucks accurately while supporting the safe transport of materials and products.
• Deliver raw materials to work centers promptly to support production operations and minimize downtime.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular counts and reconciliations, helping keep stock levels aligned with production needs.
• Ensure materials are correctly labeled and packaged, and inspect materials for damage to support quality standards.
