Job summary

Mondi Group in Illinois, Romeoville, is hiring a Material Handler/Forklift Operator to support packaging and paper operations. You will inspect forklifts, move materials to production lines, and stock supplies to keep lines running smoothly.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, loading outbound goods, and maintaining warehouse inventories. Candidates should have 1–5 years of forklift experience, be able to work overtime, and uphold safety standards on the floor.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of Material Handling experience preferred.
• 1–5 years of Clamp/Stand Up Reach Forklift experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Work schedules are normally 8–10 hours.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform forklift inspections prior to use and report repairs to supervisor/manager.
• Move materials to production per published schedule and stock at machines first.
• Unload and receive shipments; load outgoing shipments from the materials warehouse.
• Conduct monthly inventories and maintain accurate warehouse records.
• Assist in shipping when needed and support general duties as assigned.
