Job summary

Sentry Management is seeking an experienced Part-Time/ Weekend Maintenance Technician for one of our associations in Crofton, MD. The role focuses on quality completion of maintenance tasks across building systems and common areas, with interaction with homeowners, vendors, HOA managers, and the Association Board.

Schedule will be Saturdays and Sundays at $20.00 per hour. The position requires prior maintenance experience, professionalism, independence, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and

Qualifications

• Have previous Maintenance experience.
• Be professional, organized and self-motivated.
• Be able to work independently with little supervision.
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and walk up to 4 hours per day.
• Be able to safely bend and lift up to 50lbs.
• Be able to work in variable weather conditions.
• Possess general computer skills.
• Hold a valid license to operate a motor vehicle with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Routine Maintenance: Performing regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of building systems (lighting, irrigation repairs, drywall patching, HVAC drain line cleaning, mechanical systems).
• Repairs: Addressing repair requests from residents and promptly resolving issues related to common areas.
• Groundskeeping: Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of common areas and outdoor amenities (e.g., pool).
• Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Coordinating with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for repairs.
• Other duties as assigned
