Job summary

Veolia is seeking a field service professional to maintain and repair water treatment equipment across North America.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot RO/ED, ion exchange, pumps, valves, and instrumentation, and coordinate with site staff and Veolia engineers. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years' experience, travel up to 10%, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or college diploma with 5+ years in water treatment.
• Strong customer relationship skills and ability to work remotely with project teams.
• Knowledge of RO/ED, ion exchange, and thermal technologies.
• Ability to work independently and communicate technical info clearly.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and civil notations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain on-site and off-site inventory of spare parts and chemicals.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls on pumps, valves, and instrumentation.
• Document root causes and follow Veolia quality processes.
• Create site paperwork and write weekly warranty service reports.
• Provide proactive responses to customer needs and quick quotes for spares.
• Coordinate with client operators, engineers, and Veolia teams for maintenance.
• Support commissioning and preventative maintenance programs.
• Schedule field operations, coordinate trades, and ensure contract compliance.
• Travel up to 10% across North America and communicate with home offices.
