Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Ability to obtain NC Class C and Class B Surface Water Operator Certifications within specified timeframes.
• Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work and operate water treatment equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water treatment equipment and processes.
• Collect samples, run tests, record results and adjust treatment parameters.
• Perform basic maintenance on pumps, valves and piping; assist with housekeeping.
• Be prepared for shift work including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
