Job summary

Glanbia in Sharonville, OH is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate, track, analyze and execute all warehouse activities and facilities upkeep. You will lead staff, manage storage, support shipping and production, and partner with EH&S to ensure food safety and SOP compliance.

The role requires 5 years of warehouse leadership, a Bachelor’s in related field, and strong SAP/Office skills; strong communication in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in operations management or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of warehouse leadership experience; preferably in food or nutraceutical.
• Valid DMV record and ability to drive company vehicles.
• Ability to work with amino acids, vitamins and fine chemicals in powder and liquid forms.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment to solve problems.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
• Proficiency with MS Office and SAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities meeting SQF and GPN food safety requirements.
• Manage storage processes and ensure materials located appropriately.
• Inspect warehouse and equipment with EH&S team.
• Track budgets, expenses and reduce waste and scrap.
• Support R&D daily raw material requests.
• Train staff on forklift operation.
• Interviewing, selecting, and training employees.
• Appraise productivity and handle grievances or complaints.
• Ensure packaging and labeling reflect SOP and Food Safety guidelines.
• Disburse and complete work orders.
