Job summary

The Salvation Army in Poway, CA is seeking a Warehouse Associate / Backroom Processor. This full-time, on-site role pays $16.90 per hour and reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Responsibilities include sorting products per TSA policy, inspecting for defects, directing products to the correct department, and safely transporting materials from the distribution center. Overtime requires written approval from the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Sort product efficiently and properly according to TSA policy.
• Provide Quality Assurance by inspecting products for defects and damages.
• Identify product correctly and direct to proper department for processing.
• Collect merchandise from the distribution center and safely transporting materials.
• Follow safety measures established and maintained by TSA policy and government regulations.
• Overtime requires written supervisor approval and initials on the timecard.
