Job summary

This full-time, on-site role fits, fabricates, and assembles pressure vessels and piping according to drawings and standards. You will interpret blueprints and isometric drawings, lay out materials, cut and prep components, and fit heads, nozzles, flanges, and pipe spools prior to welding.

Qualifications

• Ability to read fabrication drawings, blueprints, and isometric piping diagrams, including tolerances.
• Hands-on vessel fitting and pipefitting experience with layout, fit-up of heads and nozzles.
• Proficiency with shop tools like measuring tools, cutting torches, grinders, and basic welding for tack welds.
• Strong commitment to safety practices, including PPE and OSHA procedures.
• Basic math and spatial reasoning for accurate measurements.
• On-site full-time work in Conroe, TX.
• Experience in industrial fabrication preferred; vocational training/apprenticeship is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent; OSHA 10 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and isometric drawings, lay out materials, and measure components.
• Cut and prep components, fit heads, nozzles, flanges, and pipe spools prior to welding.
• Align and clamp components, verify dimensions and tolerances, and perform basic tack welding.
