Job summary

Aramark Unit Controller/Operations Finance Analyst in Chicago Public Schools will support accounting objectives, partner with operating departments on forecasting, inventory controls, analysis, auditing, and operational support for school food service.

Based in Chicago, you will work with the Finance Director to develop annual plans, quarterly forecasts, and client billing reports, ensuring accurate records and compliance while maintaining strong vendor and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance and 3–6 years of relevant work experience.
• Previous FP&A and accounting experience required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Record daily meals and reconciliation against POS data.
• Analyze meal trends, food cost per meal and direct expenses.
• Lead Accounts Payable, vendor invoice processing, and monthly statement reviews.
• Support annual business plan development and quarterly forecasts.
• Prepare commodity reports for month-end and client billing.
• Assist inventory counts and month-end inventory reporting.
