Job summary

Leidos Defense is seeking a UAS Interoperability Technician to join the JSIL Technology and Certification Center. The role focuses on integration, testing, and certification of UAS C4I technologies in software/hardware-in-the-loop environments, supporting testing and customer briefings.

The team collaborates across the Defense Uncrewed Systems Integration and Test program, working with engineers and operators to ensure interoperability and successful test outcomes. On-site with travel as needed.

Qualifications

BS in a technical discipline plus 2–4 years of experience or MS with less than 2 years in a technical discipline.
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
On-site work with travel up to 10%.
Familiarity with UAS flight operations.
Experience with UAS C4I technologies and testing.

Responsibilities

Perform Risk Reduction Testing (RRT) based on customer system capability requirements.
Perform Army Interoperability Certification (AIC) testing of candidate system software and hardware.
Develop procedures derived from current and future system requirements documentation.
Develop solutions to complex interoperability problems during all phases of testing.
Work with JSIL leadership to support the system’s development lifecycle.
Interface with the customer to establish testing practices and meet delivery needs.
