IvoryCloud is seeking a seasoned VDI engineer to deploy, manage, and optimize VMware Horizon and vSphere-based desktop infrastructure for RRMC operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable access for 500+ VPN users while coordinating deployments and upgrades.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, a Bachelor's in a technical field, and 5+ years of VDI experience. On-site presence in Blue Ridge Summit, PA is required per contract terms.

Formación

• Active TS/SCI clearance at time of application.
• In-office five days a week in Blue Ridge Summit, PA, with onboarding in the IvoryCloud office.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on VDI implementation and administration experience.
• Experience in DoD or federal environments strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deploy, engineer, configure, and maintain VMware-based VDI supporting RRMC operations.
• Support VDI environments serving 500+ desktop and VPN users across networks.
• Plan, test, coordinate, schedule, and execute VDI deployments and upgrades.
• Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot VDI systems for performance and security.
• Collaborate with admins, network engineers, and cybersecurity teams for compliance.
• Lead components of major system installations and lifecycle refreshes.
• Interface with vendors to troubleshoot outages and performance issues.
• Respond to incidents and changes via Remedy ticketing system.
• Develop and maintain TTPs and Disaster Recovery plans.
• Develop and maintain a VDI knowledge base (SharePoint).
• Provide guidance and support to Tier 2 Desktop Support and end users.
