Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions is seeking a highly qualified System Administrator with active TS/SCI w/Polygraph clearance for a full-time role. This position requires security clearance and no telework.

Responsibilities include day-to-day IT operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and managing client/server/network devices. Candidates should have Security+ cert, 10 years of SA experience (Bachelor’s in a technical discipline; 5 years can substitute), Windows 11, Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora), Juniper

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
Security+ certification required.
10 years of System Administrator experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; 5 additional years of SA experience may substitute for degree.
Proficient in Windows 11, Linux (Ubuntu/Fedora); Networking (Juniper); Windows Server roles.

Responsibilities

Provide IT systems support including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/network devices.
Manage IT system infrastructure, configuration, operation, and related processes.
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification and diagnosis.
Provide escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
