Job summary

SAIC is seeking an IT Specialist to maintain critical network, system, and communication technologies at Fort Bragg, NC. You will deliver Tier 1–2 support for network, systems, and phones, while managing routers, switches, VTCs, and laptops to ensure secure, reliable operations for users and mission partners.

The role requires strong networking knowledge, hands-on hardware/software experience, and clear communication with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Solid technical skills across LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and encryption devices.
• Security+ certification required.
• DoD 8140 compliance (Role 411) or higher; CCNA preferred.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor, and manage WAN/LAN routing and switching.
• Maintain PC hardware/software within WAN/LAN.
• Support and repair LAN/WAN, circuits, VPNs.
• Configure and defend LAN Programs of Record (PORs).
• Manage IT across USSOCOM networks and devices.
• Maintain VLANs and wireless LANs.
• Provision secure VPN services for remote elements.
• Troubleshoot voice/data networks and assess changes.
• Update and document routers/switches across networks.
• Coordinate with circuit providers to restore outages.
• Support mobile devices and CSfC kits.
