Cascade Manufacturing Company in Tyler, TX is hiring a full-time Truss Assembler to join our on-site team. You'll assemble light gauge steel trusses, learn hands-on fabrication, and potentially take on roles like Sawyer, Catcher, and Stacker as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16 of an inch.
• Experience in carpentry, framing, and/or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Positive attitude and teamwork spirit.
• Reliable and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Stage precut material and screws for assembly.
• Set up jig and position precut material by hand for precise placement.
• Connect all joints by sinking screws with a handheld screw gun and/or screw gantry.
• May label, band, and stand finished trusses upright.
• May operate a band saw to cut material to specifications.
• May catch, stack, and label cut material.
