Job summary

Buckeye Fluid Solutions, Coshocton Plant, is seeking a Transportation Manager for its on-site operations. This exempt, full-time role leads the transportation division, supervises drivers, and ensures efficient scheduling, compliance, and cost control.

The position supports 24/7 operations with occasional nights and weekends. Responsibilities include oversight of DOT compliance, fleet maintenance, and vendor relationships, while driving operational safety and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in transportation management
• Knowledge of transportation operations and fleet management
• Strong knowledge of federal and state DOT regulations and compliance
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transportation operations, including scheduling, dispatch, and driver supervision
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety for all vehicles and personnel
• Manage relationships with third-party carriers and vendors
• Coordinate rail-truck transload operations and waste shipments between facilities
• Monitor costs, optimize fleet utilization, and support 24/7 operations
