Job summary

E.W. Wylie is seeking a journeyman Trailer Technician to keep our heavy-duty trailer fleet in peak condition. You will oversee the maintenance process from inspection to repair, guiding junior technicians, and ensuring driver safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include performing PMs and repairs, using diagnostic equipment, and logging service history with maintenance software. Strong time management and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience working on heavy equipment.
• Must own and use a complete set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on trailers and equipment.
• Corrective maintenance on brakes, electrical, frame, and related systems.
• Diagnose issues with fleet equipment using diagnostic tools.
• Maintain and review services using maintenance software and create repair orders.
