Qualifications

• Ability to interpret mechanical diagrams, wiring schematics and servicing data.
• Knowledge of electricity principles and air flow for power tools.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in power tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Goal driven mentality.
• Ability to meet daily/weekly productivity goals without sacrificing quality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Adaptability in using various technological systems and data entry/record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Handle repairs to portable electric, pneumatic tools, construction equipment, and outdoor products.
• Troubleshoot tool failure and replace worn/defective parts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Inspect, analyze and repair tools/equipment for safe operation.
• Perform performance and safety testing after repair.
• Complete work orders with parts, labor, pricing, and customer information.
• Manage inventory and ensure accuracy of parts and accessories.
• Achieve daily productivity goals on tools repaired.
• Other duties as assigned.
