The position requires safe operation of precision measuring tools, adherence to safety procedures, and travel to customer facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Read engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models and specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and identify root causes.
• Build, repair dies, crimping tools, wrenches, and other tooling.
• Lift 75+ lbs and handle manual tooling responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, modify, maintain, and repair dies, crimping tools, wrenches, and other tooling.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and specifications.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and identify root causes of dimensional, quality, or production issues.
• Inspect tooling and components using micrometers, calipers, gauges, indicators, and other inspection tools.
• Maintain accurate records of tooling repairs, modifications, maintenance, and improvements.
• Communicate tooling status, issues, and recommended solutions internally and to customers.
