Job summary

Tweddle Group is seeking an On-Site Technical Project Engineer to support a Fleet Service Management data collection program for an autonomous vehicle client. The engineer will work on site with the client's engineering and data governance teams, serving as the day-to-day link between the client and Tweddle's authoring team in Detroit and Chennai.

The role covers active production support through February 2027 and ramp-down handoff activities through March 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in automotive or mechanical engineering.
• 5+ years in technical project coordination or related field.
• Experience with OEM engineering teams.
• Proficient with PLM/3DEXPERIENCE CATIA and CAD navigation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as daily on-site point of contact for FSM data collection.
• Validate service procedure data in FSM data structure.
• Research and verify procedure details using PLM systems and CAD data.
• Resolve questions by coordinating with client engineers and sharing answers at pace.
• Perform quality checks for accuracy and template compliance.
• Track progress and report status to project manager.
• Flag risks early to protect delivery timelines.
• Lead ramp-down and handoff activities to the client.
