Dyson Institute seeks an on-site Repair Technician in Phoenix to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Dyson products. You will engage customers with a consultative approach and explain repair options and product value to guide decisions.

Responsibilities include performing repairs, processing service details, and maintaining documentation while balancing paid repair opportunities with product recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in customer service, retail sales, service operations or related customer-facing environments.
• Ability to communicate confidently with customers, including during objection handling or service discussions.
• Aptitude for learning technical diagnosis and repair procedures.
• Curiosity to uncover hidden product needs beyond stated complaints.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-person diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of Dyson products.
• Use consultative questioning to understand customer needs and recommend solutions.
• Communicate repair findings and replacement options clearly to customers.
• Promote relevant Dyson products, accessories, and services through cross-selling conversations.
• Process customer transactions and service details within Dyson systems.
• Complete daily and weekly operational reporting.
• Manage parts usage, inventory accuracy, and service documentation.
• Follow Dyson service processes, quality standards, and escalation procedures.
• Support escalated repair cases and collaborate with broader service teams.
