Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Tax Preparation and Tax, including experience with individual and small business returns.
• Proficiency in Tax Planning to identify deductions, credits, and strategies that optimize client tax positions.
• Solid understanding of Tax Law and regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply current tax codes.
• Knowledge of Finance concepts related to income, expenses, investments, and small business operations.
• Relevant certification or licensing (e.g., EA, CPA, or state-specific tax preparer credentials) preferred.
• Prior experience in a professional tax preparation environment, ideally in a client-facing role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to handle complex scenarios.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain tax matters in clear, accessible language.
• Comfort with tax preparation software, digital tools, and secure data handling practices.
• Ability to work on-site in the Memphis Metropolitan Area, collaborate with a diverse team, and support extended hours during peak tax season.
