Job summary

ECC seeks a Site Superintendent for the Portland Tank Repairs project. You will oversee daily construction activities, coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure work conforms to contract requirements, plans, and safety standards.

You will lead field operations, work with project teams, and ensure timely documentation and stakeholder coordination. The role requires strong leadership, several years of superintendent experience, and a relevant engineering/construction degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of site superintendent experience on similar projects.
• Experience with fuels-related major trades (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Coatings).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Must meet site superintendent qualifications per UFGS 01 30 00.
• Ability to manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site leadership and oversight of construction activities.
• Coordinate field operations to ensure safe, efficient work and compliance with requirements.
• Manage subcontractor activities and daily work schedules.
• Ensure work complies with contract specs, approved submittals, and plans.
• Coordinate resources, equipment, materials, and labor to meet objectives.
• Work with Quality Control to ensure quality requirements are implemented.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate with client representatives.
• Monitor progress and resolve construction challenges.
• Document daily construction activities accurately and timely.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and sequencing with stakeholders.
• Support project safety requirements and company policies.
