Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a System Administrator in Pensacola, FL, to analyze, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain NITC training systems, servers, hardware, software, and Government-furnished equipment. This on-site role supports NITC operations and requires a hands-on IT mindset and strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities include evaluating system issues, recommending configurations, and providing reliable computer support to NITC staff.

Qualifications

High school diploma.
Clearance Level: None.
Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
At least three years of professional information technology experience.
Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, servers, hardware, and software.
Experience documenting system configurations, technical findings, and corrective actions.
Ability to consult with users and translate operational needs into system requirements or technically appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities

Evaluate system issues and operational needs; recommend configurations or changes.
Analyze system functionality; propose hardware, software, or OS changes to support training operations.
Monitor, troubleshoot, configure, and maintain NITC servers and Government-furnished equipment.
Test and document system configurations, modifications, and corrective actions.
Provide computer and systems support to NITC staff and consult with users on requirements.
Produce quarterly Government-furnished-equipment reports for leadership and contracting oversight.
Assist the NETSAFA Supply Manager with inventory activities and disposal identification.
Perform limited administrative duties supporting NITC IT operations.
