MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a Supply Chain Associate to support strategic supply-chain programs for key customers and to work full-time on MEI’s partnership with Compass Datacenters.

This role sits at the intersection of operations, systems, and customer coordination, serving as a central point of contact across customers, suppliers, MEI regional teams, and corporate functions to ensure end-to-end execution from order intake through transportation, storage, delivery, and equipment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–4 years’ professional experience in logistics, operations, consulting, program management, or related analytical / operational role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and follow through on execution.
  • Possess an ownership mindset and ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Supply Chain certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the central communication and coordination hub for several large, strategic customer programs. Work directly with customers, their suppliers, and MEI regional teams to ensure smooth end-to-end execution across transportation, storage, delivery, and equipment setting.
  • Build and maintain strong external relationships, serving as a trusted liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams to anticipate needs, surface risks, and drive timely resolution.
  • Provide proactive visibility to all stakeholders through regular updates, dashboards, and escalation protocols – ensuring transparency and eliminating surprises across the supply chain.
  • Support monthly invoicing and reconciliation processes in partnership with Finance and regional teams, ensuring billing accuracy and alignment with customer records.
  • Lead the preparation of customer-facing materials for QBRs, MBRs, and scorecards, synthesizing operational performance data and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Document current-state supply chain workflows across MEI’s national network, working with regional teams to capture real operating practices and identify gaps or inconsistencies.
  • Support the development and rollout of standardized processes, playbooks, and operating procedures that improve consistency, scalability, and execution quality.
  • Partner closely with IT, Integrations, and Operations teams to design, test, and deploy enhancements to MEI’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Analyze operational and financial data related to storage, transportation, and handling activities to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support development of dashboards and reporting tools that provide actionable insights to customers, regional leaders, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Assist with root-cause analysis of service issues and support implementation of corrective actions in partnerships with Operations and regional teams.
  • Prepare clear, structured materials for internal leadership reviews related to supply chain performance, capacity, and scalability.

The Supply Chain Associate supports MEI’s strategic supply-chain programs for key customers and will work full-time supporting MEI’s partnership with Compass Datacenters. Working at the intersection of operations, systems, and customer coordination. This role serves as a central point of coordination across customers, contractors, suppliers, MEI regional teams, and corporate functions to ensure seamless execution from order intake through transportation, storage, delivery, and equipment setting. This is an onsite position with 50% travel, high-visibility, externally facing role requiring strong communication skills, structured problem-solving, and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. The Supply Chain Partners works closely with Operations, Logistics, IT, Finance, and regional leadership to drive executional excellence, process consistency, and scalable supply-chain capabilities across MEI’s national footprint. Preferred location near MEI locations in the Dallas/Addison area. This on-site role operates Monday through Friday at Compass HQ in Dallas and requires one week of monthly travel to project locations within US.


Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

Strategic Supply Chain Program & Account Support

  • Prepare clear, structured materials for internal leadership reviews related to supply chain performance, capacity, and scalability.

  • Up to 50% travel


Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, And Education)


  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience may be considered.

  • Two (2) to four (4) years’ professional experience in logistics, operations, consulting, program management, or a related analytical / operational role.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and follow through on execution.

  • Possess an ownership mindset and ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Eager to develop deep operational expertise while working directly with strategic customers.

  • Supply Chain certifications are a plus.


Physical Requirements And Working Conditions

Normal temperature-controlled environment. Will frequently perform work using keyboard / mouse, including work at a computer terminal, and perform activities requiring manual dexterity. Will use telephones (including cellular) and standard office equipment. Work involves extended periods of sitting, occasional walking, and lifting or moving objects weighing up to ten pounds. May occasionally work in non-temperature-controlled environments or outdoors with exposure to inclement weather or walk over uneven ground or terrain.
