Americase is seeking a hands-on Supplier Quality Engineer to be our eyes and ears at supplier sites in Waxahachie, TX. This on-site role focuses on supplier qualification, first article inspection, production startup, and source inspection to ensure quality before material ships.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in supplier quality, deep knowledge of GD&T, and the ability to work independently on busy supplier floors. Travel up to 50% is required to support suppliers across regions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supplier quality in manufacturing with on-site supplier work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on with metal, plastics, foam, and hardware components.
• Experience performing first article inspections, source inspections, and supplier audits.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsabilités

• Conduct supplier qualification visits and process audits with documentation.
• Oversee first article inspection at supplier sites for new parts and design changes.
• Support startup at new and transitioning suppliers to ensure controls are in place.
• Perform and witness source inspection to confirm conformance before shipment.
• Monitor supplier quality and production schedules during site visits.
