Job summary

Turner & Townsend Heery is seeking an experienced On-Site Superintendent / Clerk of the Works to oversee construction activities and review the quality aspects of complex government projects in northern Vermont. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in QA/QC, on-site project management, and coordinating subcontractors, with strong safety and budgeting oversight.

Qualifications

Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder.
Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
Preferred certifications include OSHA 30, CCM, or PMP.
Experience implementing QA/QC plans and site safety programs.

Responsibilities

Oversee construction efforts, provide progress reporting, and manage contracts and budgets.
Develop detailed project plans with scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
Ensure health and safety compliance via site inspections and audits.
Review drawings for constructability and provide input during early project phases.
Coordinate and lead monthly, daily, and event reporting and maintain project documentation.
Coordinate RFI and submittal processes and support client with safety and QA/QC programs.
