Job summary

NOVO Construction, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Superintendent to lead on-site field operations for interior tenant improvement projects in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise subcontractors, manage schedules, and coordinate with owners, architects, and engineers to ensure quality and timely delivery. The role requires 5+ years of Superintendent experience, OSHA 30, CPR, and First Aid certifications, and a strong working knowledge of BMS and building systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on interior tenant improvements.
• OSHA 30, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
• Strong understanding of building systems and BMS, including security, fire alarms, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with permitting processes and interacting with building officials.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with multi-tasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct project job walks and develop logistics plans and approaches.
• Provide constructability reviews and participate in subcontractor interviews.
• Supervise site activities and manage subcontractor scopes to meet schedules.
• Generate daily site reports and coordinate with the Owner/Client and design team.
• Coordinate permitting activities with building officials and authorities.
• Lead weekly meetings with subcontractors and foremen; review RFIs and submittals.
