Job summary

ESS is seeking a substitute teacher to assist with classroom instruction in the absence of a regular teacher. You will follow and teach lesson plans, aid students in understanding subject matter, and ensure that regular classroom routines are followed.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree with PA Teacher Certification and successful completion of state clearances. You will report student injuries and work under the direction of school administration across K-12 settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and PA Teacher Certification required.
• Clearances (Act 24, Act 34, Act 114, Act 126, Act 151, Act 168) required.
• Commitment to following lesson plans and school routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms while regular teacher is absent.
• Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives.
• Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
• Report student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration.
• Perform other duties as directed by school administration.
