Heartline Staffing is seeking a Structural Steel Manager for a full-time, on-site role in Pottstown, PA. You will coordinate material orders, review production files, and ensure timely releases across detailing, purchasing, project management, and fabrication shop.

The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and strong vendor coordination to control costs and schedules. This position offers on-site work and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of structural steel, fabrication, purchasing, material coordination or closely related experience is REQUIRED.
• Strong spreadsheet skills for nesting, tracking and organization is REQUIRED.
• Typing speed of 70+ WPM with high accuracy is REQUIRED.
• Familiarity with CNC / beam-processing files including .nc1 is REQUIRED.
• Ability to read and interpret structural steel drawings and shop drawings is REQUIRED.
• Experience soliciting vendor pricing and negotiating costs is REQUIRED.

Responsabilités

• Prepare material orders using structural steel shop drawings and BOMs.
• Review material requirements for accuracy before release.
• Track incoming materials against BOMs and monitor stock levels.
• Release work timely to prevent shop delays and support fabrication needs.
• Negotiate pricing with multiple vendors and track purchase orders.
