Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector in Chandler, AZ seeks a Staff Chief Engineer to provide technical oversight across Advanced Programs, leading a multidisciplinary team to ensure on-schedule, compliant design and mission reviews. Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance (ability to obtain Top Secret).
• U.S. citizen.
• Travel availability: 6–8 trips/year.
• Minimum 12 years directly related experience with evidence of technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support Advanced Programs Chief Engineer.
• Ensure technical performance of programs/subsystems per NG policies.
• Lead technical reviews and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Coordinate with PM teams for technical guidance and proposals.
• Maintain relationships with customers and resolve technical questions.
• Drive digital transformation efforts within the LS unit.
• Lead internal reviews (ERB, FRB, IFRR, design reviews).
