Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Logistics Engineering Manager 2 to lead a segment of the program in Chandler, AZ. The role focuses on program performance, staff supervision, and compliant logistics operations on a large system delivery.

The position is fully on-site with no relocation. Primary responsibilities include planning, shipping/receiving, and coordinating maintenance engineering and logistics support, with opportunities to contribute to proposals and process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years in supply chain or logistics, or Master's with 6+ years in supply chain/logistics (4 years' experience can substitute).
Active U.S. Government Secret clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels in the organization.
MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
Experience leading a multi-discipline team.
Experience driving process improvement initiatives.
Experience leading shipping and receiving operations.
Experience with Ammunition and Explosives (A&E) storage, handling, and transportation per DFAR, DOT, and ATF requirements.

Responsibilities

Manages a segment of the program or function and directs staff.
Plans program performance, addressing cost, schedule, technical performance and quality.
Leads shipping and receiving and ensures regulatory compliance.
Contributes to proposals and maintains maintenance engineering and logistics support.
Provides objective-oriented leadership to employees per guidelines.
