Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Two years’ accounting experience specifically with accounts payable.
• Knowledge of joint interest billing or job costing accounting systems.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong time management and prioritization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work individually or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity of the accounts payable and joint interest billing systems.
• Process invoices in the AP system including coding and uploading.
• Prepare monthly joint interest billings and review statements for accuracy.
• Communicate with vendors and reconcile AP statements.
• Support Sr. Manager AP and Joint Interest Billings and accounting/finance team.
• Assist in maintaining efficient operation of the accounting system.
