Job summary

TheraPeds Partners in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Special Education Teacher (SPED) for a school-based, on-site role. This position supports part-time or full-time hours for students across 3–4 grades.

Responsibilities include delivering instruction and case management, developing IEPs, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams of therapists, educators, and parents. A SPED teaching certification and state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Teaching Certification and SPED licensure required.
• 1+ year experience in a school setting preferred.
• Experience with students with disabilities; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and assess IEPs for students with disabilities
• Deliver instruction tailored to diverse learning styles and needs
• Collaborate with parents, educators, and specialists to ensure a comprehensive approach
• Monitor student progress and adapt instructional strategies to improve outcomes
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
• Create a welcoming, safe, and productive classroom environment
• Provide guidance to classroom staff in implementing educational strategies for students with special needs
